Lean On Me

"Lean On Me" is one of our classic camp songs because, sooner or later, everyone needs someone to carry them through a hard season.

Youth ministry can be a really lonely position. You're often the only person in the building who understands what it's like to plan a lock-in, counsel a student through a crisis, and prepare a lesson, in the same week, or maybe even the same day. The Pittsburgh Kids Network exists so no youth pastor in our city has to carry that weight alone.

Youth leaders in the network also bring their groups to our camps, which have become one of the most anticipated parts of the ministry year for many churches. One pastor called it "one of the best decisions we've made as a church for our youth ministry," and mentioned the traditions, friendships, and conversations about who Jesus is that might not otherwise happen.

Donate today to ensure every youth pastor in Pittsburgh can continue to lean on the Network for support.

PKN by the Numbers

  • 350 youth leaders are served each year through the Pittsburgh Kids Network.

  • 200+ churches and organizations serving kids benefit from PKF's work in Pittsburgh.

  • Many youth pastors bring their students to PKF Camps like Surf City, Laurelville Mud Weekends, and Spring Session.
