Adam Wicks
Adam Wicks is shareholder in Buchanan’s Pittsburgh office and leads the firm’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice Group. Adam’s business transactions practice focuses on representing private equity and venture capital firms, independent sponsors, family offices and other sources of private capital and their portfolio companies in their corporate development, investment and acquisition strategies. Additionally, Adam regularly represents private business owners exploring the sale of their business and other strategic transactions, and serves as outside corporate counsel to for-profit and nonprofit clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. Adam’s clients span a variety of industries including software, retail, security and fire alarm and protection, sports and gaming, medical devices, residential and commercial services, manufacturing, and professional services.
Adam is a graduate of Penn State University and Boston College Law School, and has been affiliated with the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation in various capacities since 2004. He grew up attending various PKF camps and went on to be a member of the camp staff for Laurelville and Surf City, was part of the team that put together the first Surf City Haiti, and has run on Team PKF in Pittsburgh Marathon events. He and his family live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
